Anyone know how tight I should torque down the NPT piece that goes in the top of the turbo to supply oil?

Gutentight. The threads create the seal, so it shouldn't need to be super tight to seal. I would use some high temp Teflon paste on it as well.

Thanks! I used some high temp thread sealant and so far it's leak free.

Just a question to anybody with the avo turbo kit. Has anybody tried using placing the raceseng seal, the seal that comes with the raceseng cam plate, around the avo oil pump?

-Use 2 crush washers and high temp thread sealant on the oil pickup line (on top of the pass side of the engine)
-Be very careful with torquing the header on (27ft lbs I believe. Confirm first), and also make sure you torque it similarly to a wheel (one bolt per side at a time)
-Use hairspray to lubricate the intercooler piping when sliding it in to the silicone piping
-Get a rivnut tool to bolt the intercooler on
-take your time with the oil scavenging pipe install. it can get messy if you don't

Everything else is as described in the instructions.

The raceseng cam plate has a channel machined into it where the seal rests. Without that channel, I think it would be impossible to seat the seal properly.

I looked into having a similar channel machined into the AVO plate, but it was more work than it was worth

Has anyone tried to get replacement parts for their AVO kit?

I want to replace:

Turbo to airbox inlet pipe
Hardpipe going to the throttle body
Hardpipe from turbo to intercooler (after the silicone part)

Are you talking about getting replacement parts from avo directly?

Is anyone running their avo kit without an oil cooler?

while cruising home in 80* weather today, my oil temp was around 100c-105c. Just wanting to know if that's somewhat ok.

Yeah I want new replacement parts for that stuff.

And I'll be selling a full blown Motorsports oil cooler soon, just waiting for my water one to arrive
