Will these fit?!

My plan is to get my hands on ESM 004 17x9 5x100 et38 cb57.1

Now my question for you expert on wheels and tires is... Will these fit on the stock tires?? And also with the sport line lowering kit??

Thanks in advance for the help!!

Yes stock tires will fit but with a stretch. You can get any lower springs you want and it will fit. If you want adjustability then get coilovers but they cost a bit more. Hope this helps

LMFAO, to you ppl that think stretching tires is "bad". C'mon now. I was running 205/35's on a 18x9.5 and never had any issues. OP, this is the worst possible place to ask this question, go to the Aggressive wheel thread where people actually know what tf they are talking about.

Help!!

Okay guys so I'm gettin my hands on some ESM 004 17x9 et 38 cb 57.1 wheels.. And was wondering if it's okay to put these on the stock tires( yes I know they'll stretch) but this is until I can get some better tires..

Also when I do decide to get some new tires which would fit best for this rim? Also I will have eibach sport line springs installed..

Thank you guys!

Its not really that hard is it? You completely passed up the stickies that are on top of the page.

Also, putting 215's on a 9 inch rim will be VERY stretched. I don't know if it'll work very well.

Why not just leave them stacked in the garage until you get wider tires?

Okay? Sure.

Recommended? No. Why? Because you aren't asking about a stretched look.

It depends on your goals. If you want to track your car, stretch is not the best option. If you are going for your preferred look then you should do you....

So tell me, assuming one is NOT going for the look nor trying to fit aggressive wheels onto stock fendered cars, how is a stretched setup good?

Here's why I think it's bad, ignoring OP's question:

1) stretched tires deform sidewall beyond design characteristics
2) any imperfections or defects in sidewall construction will be exaggerated by stretching tires
3) wheels may have more potential for curb damage, but this is driver-dependent.
4) if stock tires, using it beyond the design characteristics of the tire will impact tire warranty and any normal damage claims that may arise from a tire defect.

Again, let's ignore the slammed/wide wheel/stance argument, and assume stock tires on a stock-height FRS/BRZ with 9" wide wheels as OP is asking about. Please tell me how #1 #2 and #4 are addressed.

Yes they will work fairly well with the 215's. Yes they will be stretched but not to the point where they are un-drivable. Just make sure they are installed by a reputable shop that knows what they are doing. Seeing as you only have springs, I wouldn't go much over a 235 as you may run Into rubbing issues. If you are looking for the stretched look, then a 225 will work just fine.
