Raceseng slammers - Which finish to get?

Which one would you get?

Would love to hear from owners, but any input is appreciated.

Asking because if I'm paying 150 bucks for a shift knob, I want to make sure I get the right one. Difficult to tell from pictures.

From top to bottom
Mirror
Wrinkled
Translucent

I have translucent red - I love it, looks brilliant - weighting and size are also perfect with my short shift.

Personally I think if you were going to go for a plain or wrinkle finish there are other options out there, but the translucent really sets it off, especially if you have the shift pattern engraved for contrast.

140 plus 15 for shipping. For some reason the shipping bothers me more than the price...

I'm open to hearing about cheaper alternatives, as long as it doesn't mean sacrificing quality.

Unfortunately That's not realistic for a good heavyweight one.

Where are you getting one for $50?

It's actually a pretty nice shape.

Since they don't have a stitched black leather option...I think the translucent grey is bitchin'. :-)

My interior is completely black and red. One of the reasons I want a shift knob is because it's one of the only silver things left. That, and I'm doing clutch grab, slave cylinder, and motul 300 so I want a weighted shift knob for the full effect. I'd like to stick with black or red.

I'm digging the translucent ones, whichever color you want.

Obviously never owned, seen, or used one.

OP, I had the slammer and their reverse lockout, best feeling shifter I've used by far. The feel, finish and cosmetics are perfect. I'm getting the Slammologi for my V160 because the only downside for the raw Slammer is it the temperature extremes (really hot in the sun, really cold during winter). The Slammologi is a solid aluminum core with a delrin replaceable sleeve to alleviate those temp differences.

Which finish did you get? I'd really like to hear from someone with textured. I just feel like that one would be uncomfortable. I leaning towards mirror black, since the translucent doesn't appear to come in black.

I would consider mirror red though, it would match the stiching and gauge lights.

Also, what's the reverse lockout? Do you have to get that seperately?

Edit: Godamnit.. another 80 bucks

My slammer is machine/no finish. I'll be selling it soon since my new transmission doesn't have the same shift pattern.

I have the Slammer and RLO both from Raceseng. The metal to metal click when you pull up the RLO is so satisfying. I sometimes just shift into reverse at a stop light to play with it.
