Dunno bout all the tracks but a few I've done won't allow motorcycle helmets. Needs the full race cert. But you can find those for like 200 or less if you look. I have the cheapest Pyrotect, and it's great

Interesting. Ive done SOW, buttonwillow, fontana with extremespeed, speedventures, and private run groups. And not one of them have told me other wise.

But yeah there are cheap helmets out there for 200$ or less. Dont buy a used one.

Edit: looking back over my tech forms, it would appear I meant Snell in general. I know most organizers don't allow DOT helmets.

I think only actual competitions require SA?
