Just got an email from my dealer in Atlanta. when I pre-ordered, I was #3, but the email said I was #2. So either he goofed and meant to put 3, or one of the two ahead of me canceled their order. Personally, I'm hoping for the latter.

In light of the thread by Pecan Sandies, I've emailed SoA an inquiry as to if they have anything on my order. Waiting to hear back from them.

Is there a thread that lists statistics of what color is being delivered sooner or have been delivered to customers?

I have not heard of any GBS Limited MT delivered yet. Am I wrong?

You can also just call SoA customer service (1-800-782-2783). If you have your VON # they can update you with the VIN and ETA if your car is state side.

That's cool, congrats... I bet that makes some people here a little sad, since the first batch of allocations are most likely done and then it will probably be silence for another month or so.

Note - all speculation on my part.

I finally got the full VIN of my car when my salesman called me this morning. He told me Subaru called them with the info and told them no one in the country has taken delivery of a BRZ yet and he was 100% sure Subaru was correct

I emailed him multiple links of people that have already taken delivery of their car to prove him wrong

Do you know if your dealer is SoA, SDC or SNE?

SNE which provided them with the last 9 of the VIN but SOA provided them with the complete VIN.
