Is there any oil or visible leaks on the SC itself? To make sure, check the SC oil line as well, and check the level on the dipstick, which is in the can. It is in the driver's side corner of the engine bay - looks like a black plastic bottle - just unscrew the blue cap to check the level.

In any case, you should bring the car to the installer - it very much sounds like an installation issue.

I had an issue with the Mocal sandwich plate when I installed the oil cooler. Oil was ALL OVER the driver's side of the engine bay with no signs of loose lines. I checked the adapter for the filter as well. It turned out I had a pinhole on the Mocal plate itself! It was a defect from the sand casting process making the plate. I took it back to JR and Oscar Sr and Jr replaced it for me. Sr said in all his years selling this particular part he had never seen a defect like this, I just happened to be the "lucky" one.

I would top off the oil, clean the bay as best you can and have someone start it but ready to shut it down as quickly as possible so you can inspect the plate since lines don't look affected. I took a video of my defect and will try to post it shortly.

Sorry I didn't bring this defect to everyone's attention earlier. JR definitely knows about it though. We figured it was a complete anomaly.

Motor. That's the motor oil filter.

Sucks, but I finally put my FRS up for sale. If you know anyone interested, let me know...

I finally got my replacement "Daddy" car on Friday. I like it, but it's not a JRSC FRS

if you want to pay out I know people who would be interested in buying the JRSC kit from you.

And what are you forced to drive now?

I was going back and forth about pulling the JRSC and Oil Cooler kit off. I had a few people interested, but nobody wants to deal with the EcuTek re-licensing... I'm open if you know someone...

I got one of the 500 pre-order launch edition 2015 Golf R's. I had a LIST of boxes that needed to be checked for my next toy and this one checked most of them compared to everything else I looked.

Ok... no flamming me for getting a VW... LOL!

I've already started a build thread:

Shoulda waited for the focus RS

I never had a problem when I nought a used kit with a used cable. I just bought a new license and tune and it works fine. So I only paid 3k for the kit with the cable, and then another $550 for a license and tune.

Cause you'll probably get more going to back to stock and selling everything separately than you would leaving it all on there.

Everything is pretty much back to stock minus the JRSC and Oil Cooler kit. There are some smaller items (HID kit, spoiler, LED's, etc.)

Keep an eye out. If the car doesn't sell quick, I have no problem selling the JRSC and Oil Cooler Kit separately.

I looked at the Focus RS, but I need the backseat room for a baby seat. And the Focus RS doesn't have much back there from what I've read... that was one of the "boxes" that needed to be checked (room for a baby seat and not piss off my wife having her seat all the way forward)...
