I'm doing the install myself (no prior knowledge) this weekend with jack and jack stands, so hopefully if I do it right, I'll be able to make it through with no problems. I wish there was a thorough install video or PDF file I could follow so I can match it though.
there should be a DIY in the diy section, but catbacks are easy! You'll do fine, and worst case make sure you can take photos, and post up and there should be plenty of people to help answer!

Sorry for the questions, I rarely find anyone else with another ARK exhaust, so its nice to hear from someone else who has it. Plus, I'm trying to get tips for when I install mine over the weekend.
wells at stock height it has good clearance
and if you now go too low, I don't think it will be a problem from what I saw

Waiting on JDL for that. I am lower as well and while the Grip hangs low, I think I have only scraped once or twice and that was on one of those draw bridges in Georgia that dipped way down. For normal driving, all 56000 miles I have I haven't had any clearance issues.

Thanks for this review, i decided to go with the grip.. Coming from Q300 i would say that grip is 2 step ahead with q300 in terms of sound loudness with only stock fp, op and header. Im loving that Low deep sound in it, this is perfect for those people that are looking for a perfect balance of sound loudness, though im not sure what people are talking about grip sounds like stock on idle, not to me, i still feel that low sound vibrating even im on idle. im loving the exhaust, i hope ark will make a front pipe for auto trans.

Hey guys! Reviving a dead thread pretty much but just incase anyone is interested, I made a review on this exhaust. I previously had the SRT header-back exhaust. I loved it but the resonator was trash and I needed something with less drone. I have the ARK resonated test pipe, the grip axle back and the Berk over-pipe! Drone is significantly less, car sounds quiet inside but sounds even better than the SRT on the outside. I also have the Kraftwerks/skunk2 equal length headers on my car. Hope this is helpful!
