here is another article I've seen a while ago

Nice article..I saw that video in it recently.

Its crazy too how it's so much better than the new Stingray too (which reportedly isn't too highly praised because of its' squirrelly'ness still, lack of grip and difficulty to drive with confidence or ease). I wonder what happened within GM lol.

What trim is the 1LE available in? Only the SS right? Is that an LS3 or a diff engine in it? ...I was trying to click boxes in the chevy website yesterday lol. I think you have to pick 1SS option first or something, and the cheapest you can option it out for with no options (just 1SS and 1LE) is $38k

who says it lacks grip? with the 245F/285R Michelin PSS tires it made 1.1G on skidpad ..that's amazing for a Summer street tires if you ask me
with better tires I am pretty sure the lap times will be better

Yes, with Camaro SS and I believe it's available with 1SS and 2SS trims.. It's the same LS3 engine with the Camaro ..a bit more oil capacity than the Grand sport Corvette IIRC..

You are right but many forum vendors offer the same car 4-5k less than sticker price so it can be had ~$35k new or slightly used one for low $30k

Really? I just looked on my local CL, and all the '14 1LEs are selling for $43-50k+ used. Where can I buy one for $30k used or $35k brand new? Maybe I'll buy one, haha jk.

Eh, comparing the base C7 with the Z28 is a bit messed up. For $20K more, it damn well better be faster...

I offered you a free track day registration... and this is on my dime, not CSG's.

This thread proves two things.

CSG Mike is a pretty damn nice guy (see post 175)

The OP is obviously M23/fooddude and still annoying as all f**k regardless of his/her user name.

I must admit however, some of the posts by him are just gold so I hope he doesn't leave us for his $10,000 track ready S2K that he's gonna buy on Craigslist.
