well i guess, thats a standard weight would be a better statement. but if im throwing down big bucks for wheels, im gona want like 12-13lbs for a 16x7. but thats just preference. if i was just building a bad ass looking car, weight would be of lesser importance.

Regarding the RS Watanabe "R Type" in 16" for FR-S - information sent from Kiyo @ Takumi Project:
Quote:
RS-WATNABE R type wheel
16x8.5 -6 5x100 standard color (GOLD,SILVER,GUNMETAL) non polished lip MSRP $710( base wheel $675 + $35 special PCD) each wheel
16x9.5 -19 5x100 standard color (GOLD,SILVER,GUNMETAL) non polished lip MSRP $710( base wheel $675 + $35 special PCD) each wheel

I do not know exact fit size to FR-S but as long as I know the machine can fit 8 and 9 inch wide and offset around positive 20 to 30 will be lowest offset and widest size of wheels with just suspension work and original body. so these 16 inc R type wheels will be too low offset. wheels will be sticks out from fender. so You may need to have widde body or flare fenders.

Also anther my concern is brake caliper. this R type wheel does not have brake clearance on back space of wheel. Back side of wheel have is really flat there is no space to fit big calipers. what kind of calipers would you use with the wheel?

Yes, true. 10-12lb wheel would be best if spending that much ...TWS, forged Volk or SSR, etc.

I replied/asked if it was available in a lower offset (since it's only 7" wide); maybe +0, for a deeper lip, more sunken in and concave look. If, yes, I will update everyone.

Update:

"Yes 5x100 0P is available. The range is -6N to +15P offset. (in regards to a 16x7)

Thx AJ (allwheels.com.au)"

Here is what the wheels look like; though, a diff size. Just to give you an idea how it looks with certain widths and offsets:

Wheels are Performance Superlites
-Fronts 15x7 +25
-Rears are 15x8 +4

It's a kit designed to fit the wilwood forged super light onto a STI rotor. Not sure what clearance the wilwood kit would have. Though I do believe the 4 piston kit uses a smaller rotor(304mm compared to STI 326mm) so you should have no issues. You just might have to use spacers to get them out far enough.
