I can vouch for the Triad crew. Good people. I'm definitely interested in going; but I am considering staying Saturday or Sunday night somewhere nearby. I haven't searched yet, but I imagine someone's put together a group rate or listed hotels they are staying in.

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of forum updates here. As Joe mentioned earlier, we won't be doing a meet this week due to weather concerns. As much as I like seeing you guys, I figured it was in our best interest to sit this week out with nightly temps reaching single digits. We will be back to normal meets again next week!

Also, for those of you that attend cars and coffee, it has been postponed for weather as well. It was originally scheduled for Feb 21, but has now been moved to Feb 28.

I know a few of us are planning to attend an AutoX on Feb 28, but for those not going, take some pics of the McLarens for us!

I was checking the THSCC web site for the info on the autoX and found, "Time to get this season started and what better place than Danville Regional Airport! Due to inclement weather, the test n' tune and first points event has been rescheduled to March 7th and March 8th. Preregistration has been extended to end on March 6th at 5pm."

There was a Rallycross but they don't care so much about weather

Is there something else going on I'm missing?

I'm looking forward to checking out the supercars but a bit bummed because the whole family was going out Saturday but it will be just the kids and I the following week.

Feb 21/22 has moved to March 7/8. I will update our calendar accordingly.

Feb 28 is the NCR SCCA autocross down in the Wilmington area.

Feb 21 C&C has moved to Feb 28, which now conflicts with the NCR SCCA autocross.

Depending on the forecast for Feb 28, I may sit that autocross out, as standing around in freezing weather all day is no fun. Nor is it fun to run on hard tires =]

I'll be making a facebook event for the caravan this weekend.

I won't be there. Working on a work project tonight. On a side note, all of my mods will be available for sale soon. Trading the BRZ in sometime within the next month or so.

After multiple trips over the past month to the Vet and my parents house with 3 dogs in the BRZ, living without 4 doors is becoming more of a hassle than I want to live with. The lack of AWD showed its ugly head over the past few days and while dedicated snow tires would make things better, ultimately we can probably all agree that AWD is superior in snowy conditions when its absolutely necessary to get to work on time.

So I'll be trading it in on a new WRX
