I made a thread a while ago about the factory 16s. I am not sure what tyre choice is like over there. Here it is hard to find a performance tyre. The size to search is 205/55R16.

You listed 225/60/16, is that a typo?

Btw:
Are Rota Slipstreams in "16x7 5x100" officially discontinued? I've read they were, upon google search, on various forums (ie: wrx, naisoc, etc). But, thse posts are already 3-7+ years old; and, I still notice there are many shops today that still list them and sell them (but they're perhaps new old stock? irdk).

Just wanting to know and asking; just in case someone gets a set, and say if you damage 1 and needed a replacement, I am wondering if it would be easy to get 1 or 2 for a replacement.

They are still available in various lug patterns, but I'm not sure if the 5x100s are still made.

In Europe you can have from the top of my head:
Bridgestone RE002
Dunlop Sportmaxx RT
Michelin Pilot Sport 3
Yokohama v105
Yokohama AD08R

Perhaps a deep search will come up with a few more. Not the widest choice but enough, and they are not expensive.

Update, for anyone interested in Superlite (Panasport type) wheels:

"16x7, 5x100, Can do +15. Allow 6weeks. Cost is $425EA including airfreight from the UK, Thx AJ (allwheels.com.au)

PS- Am investigating sea freight for sharper pricing"

I replied/asked if it was available in a lower offset (since it's only 7" wide); maybe +0, for a deeper lip, more sunken in and concave look. If, yes, I will update everyone.

If it's not too much to ask, what is the tire dimension and suspension mod on the FRS in y'all banner? That is the exact setup I was looking for.

No prob. That's my personal car!

It is 225/50/16 tires and Megan Racing track series coilovers (not slammed down).

More pics

Nice one. Let us know what reply you get.

I actually emailed them in June 2014 (regarding 17x9 5x100 +30et to +35et Watanabes). This is the reply I got from them:

"Yes we can make either of those, in that bolt pattern they are AU$790 each. Delivery is AU$320 for a set of four, manufacturing time is 12 weeks.
Thank you

For 16"... imo, an 8” +15et to +25et would work great (similar poke to a 9” wide wheel with +30et and +35et respectively)

I can't seem to find any decent looking wheels in 16"!

I asked Fifteen52 for a quote on some 16x7 Forged 2 piece wheels, they said its $750 a pop and like 17 pounds. Better be bulletproof at that rate haha
