Is PPF the car really that worth it? I'm contemplating it, but I also don't know the cost of such a thing..

It was $750 for me, which got me the front bumper, front 18" of the hood and fenders, and the mirror caps.

I was quoted $650 for 3M stuff covering bumper, full hood, 1/3 fenders, and mirrors. Xpel quoted me at $1800 (ouch!) for full frontal coverage.

Don't mean to hijack the post, but does anyone know if there is a way to identify the series blue production number for each car?
I'm trying to get a custom plaque for the heated seats cover and I want to put the number there if possible |

Is it possible to fully wrap the whole car in Xpel or PPF? I just wouldn't want parts of my car to be covered, but rather the whole thing.

Not sure if the 3M product line has changed. 3M will look very orange peely compared to the Xpel ultimate material. I got my full hood, full fender and bumpers covered and it's the best thing I ever bought for the car. No one can tell its covered and keeps the car looking mint. Worth it to me because I plan to keep the car for a very long time

Xpel Ultimate is a far better product and has as better warranty (that covers reinstall costs as well!) Quote:
Sadly, no. Quote:
Yes, but it's going to be a custom job and not cheap. |

Xpel Ultimate is definitely the better product. Looks great on my car... Insomuch as that you can't see it, lol.

I wish they had numbered them. Would have been cool to know which number it was rolling off the line.
