See above.

The bushing thing annoys me the most.

God damn I love the stock knob except for the stupid plastic plate on top that creaks when I move my palm across it.

Told my sales lady (the one that sold my FR-S to me) that the second she gets word that deposits are allowed to call me. I'm afraid I am holding out for a goose to lay a golden egg though.
Ah, the fabled Toybimmer.

Oh, I'm not. Just funny he posted that because I had a friend help me install the Perrin catback last weekend and afterwards we grabbed the lip to offer it up and see how it would fit. It was below 30* that day, so a bit chilly, and the lip was having nothing of being fit to the bumper that day. Lots of others who have bought them say they become a lot more user-friendly if you let them sit in the sun on a warm day, so that may just have to wait until we can deport all that Canadian air you sent us.

I have only had my BRZ for about 8 months, and I am considering a small drop for the aesthetics. I am afraid though that any change to the suspension will diminish the slide-happy tail of the car, it is so fun to let it slide just a teeny bit at low speeds.

I am really happy with the car from the factory, and this thread has me thinking twice about some of mods, as they may not be beneficial to me

small drop won't ruin the car's handling

What is a small drop? Small drop is subjective. Some people consider 1 inch a small drop while others consider it the maximum for the twins.

I think small drop is around 0.8-1.0 inch

Ah I see. 1 inch drop wouldn't hurt the dynamics of the car, that is if you have an alignment and make sure everything is ship shape.

I recently ppurchased them and installed them along with whiteline end links for a track day last month to test them out. Love how flat and planted the car feels. However immediately after and to this day. There is a weird clunking sound coming from the front end especially going 5-10 mph over small cracks and bumps in the road. All suspension components including the brackets for the sways are tight and I cannot figure it out. It's annoying the he'll out of me. I'm running fortune auto 500 coilovers and I've even checked the preload, radial bearings, and collars. Only did it after the track day and I put the sways on 4-5 days prior.

To keep this thread going: Password JDM stainless shift knob. Got the knob and it looked much higher quality in the pictures. Hated the look how it narrowed down at the bottom and the lock out protruded much further. Then once I screwed it on, the pattern was crooked at the point it was tight. Called PWJDM, and they told me to return it (on my dime) so they could personally test it to make sure it was really crooked before they would refund me. If not I would have to pay a fee for the time it took them to test it. Said screw it and gave it to my dad. He put it on his.....take a guess......😀....that's right. MIATA!! Fit like a glove with a little helicoil.

Your front swaybar endlinks are bot tight enough where the sleeve and the balljoint connect. I sold all my whiteline stuff because it was cheap crap and they never responded to my emails regarding a snapped rear swaybar link.
