What do you mean by "turn to DRL" though? DRLs are on with the controls set to either OFF or AUTO. (I'm not trying to be a smartass btw, just confused) |

To get the DRL strip on bottom off while headlights are on you need to remove the little red piece on the black module that is close to the little white hole on the bottom half. In their installation video it shows you at the 3:34 mark! |

I installed mine yesterday and everything went well. I was unable to completely hide the wire though. I could not figure out how to get it to go behind the hood latch. Everything is tucked behind the bumper and air box but for that small 6" section that goes around the hood latch area. I tried to shove it behind the latch but could only get it about 3/4 the way between the bumper foam before it would get stuck.
How else are you guys doing it? |

when I turn one knot to DRL, everything comes on including the headlights. (I don't want the headlights to come on) when I turn another knot to parking light, only the boomerang and the DRL come on. when I turn all the way, everything turns on again. |

Just researched a bit more, both BRZ models have auto headlights. Either you were testing during while it was dark out, or your light sensor is blocked or not working as suggested below. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk |

It takes maneuvering and possibly smaller hands to get it behind the hood latch, but it fits. Definitely need to remove the airbox to get back there. Also *she. Need to remember to change my avatar to duck face selfie with hair in my face to avoid further confusion. |

And remember- DRL comes on only when vehicle is running, with ebrake down. Parking lights come on whenever your headlights are on- doesn't matter if it's the Auto setting or On setting. After installing, if you think something's not working right, please uninstall the module and see if it's still the case. This module is not going to interfere with other functions in your vehicle. Thanks, Paul
