Well the code came back in less than 50 miles so it's definitely not a once only issue. At lease now I'll know if it's actually fixed or not when it goes back in.

Angry

The dealership ordered the wrong sensor. 3 hours wasted and woke up early for nothing. Goes back on Tuesday now...

My dealership offered me a free oil change when I showed up for my appointment and learned they failed to hold on to the new cricket cage they ordered for me.

I was really frustrated but they made it up to me with the oil change which I will get when it's time.

Anyway, good luck with your baby. I'm following this thread.

Aren't the first few oil changes free with the 2 year maintenance program? Hopefully your getting a coupon or whatever for an oil change in addition to the free ones your entitled to.

I had the same engine codes and had to take it back to the shop 3 times. Hopefully it doesn't happen again with you, or it happens multiple times before our basic warranty so you can lemon the car out.

Dealership replaced the sensor last week, code hasn't come back yet, probably still selling it anyways though.

One hiccup and your ready to jump ship? Cars are machines. Sh*t happens. Every new car I've ever owned has needed some type of warranty work. Maybe you're just not happy with the car in general.

If the problem can be resolved without much to your expense, you still plan on selling? If that's the case, how are you ever going to hold onto a car for more than a year??

Wait so you have around 24000 mile or 35000km on your car already??

As to OP, I feel your pain, hopefully everything will turn out well.

31453KMs right now but that is because my 2 hour commute is only once a week for a couple of months while the plant retools. Then I will make up for it by going extra when we are back up!
