They're like 24lbs. Add wider tires into the equation and you're pretty much on steam rollers.

24lbs per wheel!?!?!?! no thanks!

IMO, go for lighter wheels or stay with stock wheels (unless boosted)

Dreamers, dream on.
19.6lbs isn't "light" it's just not "heavy". Until it has been verified, whatever weights off the top of your head mean nothing. Lets keep this on topic to the specific NEW models at hand.

720form! Priced a tad bit higher at around ~$200/wheel (which is still cheap as fuck), and still 17.8lbs for a 17x9. Rota Titans are in this range as well. Those two wheels are probably the lightest wheels you can find with good sizes and offsets for the price.

A good rule of thumb for anybody wanting performance wheels is trying to not go heavier than the stock wheels ~20lbs.

True. I agree that those wheels offer the best bang for the buck right now. I have been looking at the 720 form for a bit now.

But everyone has been talking about 18" sizes. @17" size, the price is about $75 more per wheel, 500 for a set vs 800 for a set, it is a (relatively) big price jump(60%) for those people with limited budget.

Always goes back to the 3, cheap, fast(light), reliable(strong enough).

I want to get the xxr 550 but I don't know much about wheels.
They are available in 18x8.75 in +36 or +19.
I am not sure what offset to get them in. My car is lowered on eibach sportline lowering spring so it's about an inch and a half lower drop.
Thanks

XXR 530 in 18x8.75 are 19.6lbs, 527s are similar. Looking at the new offerings I think think the 550 would be the lightest of the bunch.
