Does this look right?

OK, so I bought a used kit from a forum member, some of the parts have arrived, and I looked them over today.

I noticed this--see how it looks like the ends of a broken O-ring are protruding past the mounting boss? This might be by design, but it doesn't look like it to me.

I don't have any basis for comparison, so I thought I would ask if anyone has seen this assembled on a know good supercharger?

The other problem I see is that the heat exchanger appears to have been damaged in transit.

Not just bent fins here, two of the tubes are bent, one of them quite badly. Is anyone successfully running a heat exchanger with similar damage? My first thought was to find a real radiator shop (kind of rare these days) and have them pressure test it.

Buy a pressure test at harbor freight and test it. A pressure test is pretty simple.

Let me know.

Yeah, I am glad you insured it, I will message you later, right now I am really curious about that O-Ring.

I can't tell anything from you picture. The blower was simply unbolted and lifted off the manifold and shipped. I don't see anyway anything could have happened to it.

UPS unpacked and repacked it all in the store as well. They wanted to "check it"

The o-ring bit would not have been damaged in shipping, if it's wrong it was like that from the start, it really looks wrong to me, but I am reluctant to take it apart without confirmation. Tell you the truth, I looked at it and thought to myself "he must have had a boost leak".

Don't get the wrong idea, I think this is any easy fix, unbolt, new o-ring, bolt back up.

I am just hoping for a third party opinion before I start in with that, I would need the dimensions for the o-ring or to buy it from Sprintex anyway.

Anyone have the stock flash for an automatic transmission? I purchased the CARB tune but Innovate did not send me my stock tune. Bill has not responded to me as well.

Thanks.

[QUOTE=jAn unrelated question - anybody have opinions on the tunes from Moto-East versus Delicious, specifically for E85?[/QUOTE]

I ran my kit on the 75mm pulley and CARB tune for 40K+ miles (my car has over 76K now). I just recently put a tomei EL header and the Delicious FF kit on while keeping the 75mm pulley. The headers and the FF kit provide a noticeable increase in power, and the car runs much smoother up to red line as well.
