I'm debating this as well now, I know once tuned there isn't that big a difference between the 3.
I really like the Skunk/Grimmspeed setups, but don't want it to interfere with the oil cooler. I like the Perrin, but it looks like (correct me if I'm wrong) I'll be pulling the bumper 1+ times per year to clean it? |

The three runs were,
1. Installed and basically rolled it on dyno and ran it with Stock tune, engine cold with intake ( keep in mind it only did that one run and settled to 190 range with subsequent two more runs ) 2. Then my MAF scaled “hot” . With the skunk2 insert on 3. then back to stock tune with “hot” engine (the last run of last night before rolling it off the dyno) Last edited by sachu; 02-19-2015 at 12:57 PM. |

MAF needed to be scaled even with the insert in there.
The car wouldn't start/idle without the insert present. So chose to first test it out with insert in the intake. Will be taking the car back for more dyno time to tune without the insert in. By the way, this saturday driving up to Drift offfice to get a baseline done on Bob's dynojet to see if the curves corroborate on the stock tune, which is what I am running right now. |
