My first car was a v8 rwd infinity q45. Had no idea it was rwd until I gave it a little too much gas and the rear swung out. I controlled it but it easily could have gone bad. Second car was my rx8 now it's time to move on to my 3rd rwd.

I'm not saying it compares, but I drive a RWD pickup truck. My only sporty car was AWD.

My first car was FF then a few MR cars (all inline-4s), then a big FR V6, now an AWD inline-4 commuter. Also had a 2-wheeler 250cc which I used to wring out stupidly fast on mountainside twisties to hang with the big 600s. Been down a couple times (at low speeds thankfully) and took a break from that hobby. The FR-S/BRZ will be a culmination of the funnest elements of my past motor vehicles.

I've driven my dad's S2000 a number of times, but the only car I've ever owned in a 1993 Honda Accord. I grew up on dirt roads so I feel like I have pretty decent car control, but I'm really looking forward to owning a rwd car. I do plan on using this car ever single day of the year unless there is like two feet of unplowed snow on the road. I simply cannot wait to take delivery on my car, should be the best day of my life.

Had a 2010 370Z sport pkg (my only rwd car) I liked it but it didn't give me that happy feeling inside when I drove it on a day to day basis. Possibly because it has so much power and grip that to notice anything you'd have to drive at insane speeds for public roads. I'm hoping that the FR-S helps me get that fun feeling when in drive it without risking my license every time I drive. For comparison, I had more every day fun driving my 2007 GTI with DSG than I ever did in the Z. Mostly because you didn't have to go 125 mph to enjoy the car. In between those two cars I also had a 2009 WRX that I loved (got hit by a truck while sitting in a parking lot), that one was both fun and had the power if you ever needed to blow someone away on the highway.

I've had a few different cars, but this will be my 2nd RWD'er. The first was a 2005 RX-8, which was so smooth I got away with a lot. Besides that it's been a mix of AWD's (Audi TT) and FWD's (CR-Z) that have completely gotten me out of the habit of driving with much of a purpose. I'm not sure I can do this car much justice from a technical driving stand-point anyway though, it'll probably be babied for quite awhile.

Not counting my motorcycles or my wife's vehicles, the FT86 will be car #7 and RWD #4 for me.

I've owned a 2007 PRHT Miata and a 1986 Mustang, so it will be my 3rd.
