probably not, ha...

but there are service stations with auto weigh scales. I'm entirely shooting in the dark here but I bet a quick google for your area will come up with results.

Some of the systems are portable. Really cool tech.

We have some of the portable ones at my guard base. I didn't want to drive that far though.

I'm not sure what the stops are like by you, but they might be.

I was going to suggest giving a call to the nearest trooper station since (at least here) staties carry portable scales in the cars for DOT stops of trucks.... then I remembered that your car is pretty much a moving ticket trap on its own and that might not be the best idea.

Eh... I've got turn signals and wipers. What more could they possibly want?

Accidentally summed up my entire build in a drunken Facebook PlastiDip post. I wish Mike wasn't too banned to tag.

Love you, Diss. nevr 5get.

I'm still drunk, by the way.

Landfills/Recycling operations where you pay/are paid by the pound.

Drive in, get weighed, dump, get weighed, pay/get paid.

Yeah, there's a scrap metal place pretty close to my house where I plan to weigh it. I just began a 19 day working streak, but hopefully after this is over with I can take it over there.

I finally got around to weighing my AC bits.

Not counting liquids, I removed 33.1 pounds of shit. But then I had to add 2.725 pounds of JDM AC delete pulley. So the whole deal shed 30.375 pounds, not counting liquids.

I began removing my sound deadening today. So far I've removed 3.56 pounds. Based on how much is left, I'm estimating the grand total will be about 5.5 pounds. It's going to be tricky getting all the vertically-mounted pieces off though. That's all I've got left. I ran out of dry ice, and also need to figure out how I'm going to go about doing those last 4 pieces.

I haven't done it myself, but on motoiq I read that they taped cardboard against the vertical parts to make a pocket to hold the dry ice.

@Anthony

So if you had to guess, how much would you say your curb weight is now?

That is the exact idea I came up with. I'll probably be doing it one day this week.

I'm thinking about 2,390 pounds. Full tank, coolant, oil, etc. I'm going to weigh it as soon as I'm done with this sound deadening.

Scrap yard/dump yards are notoriously inaccurate for lower weights and the ones I've seen round to the nearest 100 lbs. Could be that they are anticipating dump trucks with massive loads and getting to the nearest pound isn't all that important.

Have you considered corner balancing at an alignment/race shop? You end up with an exact weight of your vehicle and you suspension is setup nicely!
