First, welcome to the forum!
You'd have to check your local noise laws to make sure the N1 is legal is CA. The N1 is a catback, so it doesn't affect emissions at all. I wouldn't worry about the Injen intake. The BRZ/FRS has a great air intake from the factory. If you insist on throwing money at it, get an panel filter and/or an intake tube. Also, you posted this in the classifieds, chances are this thread will be moved or deleted by a moderator. A better place to post this would have been in the Engine, Exhaust, Transmission section, or one of the regional CA sections I mentioned before. I hope that helped! |

Google it, most states list vehicular code and noise laws.
Google and find the dB level of an N1 exhaust on a BRZ. |

No, personally I don't think they are ricey. A lot of people have them and can finish off an exhaust very nicely. Its all personal preference.

the noise law is 95 decibels. Although, technically its illegal to modify any part of the exhaust at all.

I would just go the invida Q300 catback nice and quiet you wont attract attention, skip the intake unless you getting a tune as well.
With the q300 if you ever add header it wont deafen you if you want an intake with no tune buy the grimmspeed its maf scaling is very close to stock, intakes wont get you much power but some people like the sound. read the basic bolt on mods link below
