For sure, JDL, Nameless, HKS are top notch quality headers..but trying to get an inexpensive, best bang for buck, type of catless EL header.

Which are the good ones though? OFH, PPE, P&L, Tomei, Skunk2, Rev Works, etc., etc.?
Sub $1,000, I'd say Tomei EL by far.

Zach,
My FlexFuel kit arrived Saturday. Looks very professional A couple of observations:
I presume the new tunes status is as post #936.
No fuel line tool in kit (no big deal for me as I already have one)
Short screws only engage about 1 thread. IMHO they need to be a little longer.
Any installation instructions available yet?
ETA on the Android app?

Vader,

Are you referring to our new NA tunes or your Flex Fuel update? Tool kits are being included on all future orders, they just hadn't arrived as of yet. They are here now! We could use longer screws, however the bracket is very thin and the next size up would protrude out the bottom of the bracket and abrade against the abs line, which is exactly what we're trying to avoid. We haven't had any issues with bolts coming loose or undone at their current size, but will look into perhaps a custom size bolt that will sit flush with the bottom of the bracket.

No install instructions available quite yet, working on getting a PDF up on the site. For now if you have any questions on install feel free to PM me. Android app is due by end of month if my last update on that holds true.

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning

Zach,
I was waiting for the FlexFuel upgrade for the Innovate S/C 69/75mm pulley. Thanks for the heads up on the screws protruding issue. I will grind down my longer bolts, or maybe just add an additional washer or two

Stage 2, with E85/Flex Fuel if you have it available! I wouldn't do a muffler delete unless you desire the sound. Overpipe and front pipe gains are negligible gains compared to header, and you do still want a little bit of backpressure in the system for low end torque retention. If street car, keep stock front pipe for low end. If race car, straight pipe and you'll lose low end but gain a small bit on top.

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning

@sales@delicioustuning.com forgive me if I missed it, have you played around with the Grimmspeed intake yet?

I notice on your site you recommend the AirRaid intake and JDL headers, just curious if you've tested the Grimmspeed.

We have tested and tuned the Grimmspeed intake on our latest trip to Mann Engineering. We quite like it, especially the fact that it needs virtually no MAF scaling since it so closely follows stock values. Good box!

You may see a little bit on top, but that's about it. The gains on a Stage 1 tune are really negligible compared to the stock intake with a high flow filter.

On an untuned car you would see more of a benefit with the Grimmspeed intake, the Stage 1 tune pretty much just overshadows it.

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning

Hey Toni,

You should feel the gains immediately after flashing. The ecu will also continue to learn and add more power if it's happy, which it should be. If you ever need a stock tune, just email us and we'll send it over. I haven't run into a dealer that's able to tell an EcuTek tune is on a car, however. They certainly couldn't figure out one was on mine.

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning
