Anyone else getting Diablo 3?

My son and his buddy have been playing since the release at 3AM EDT. Last time I checked they are both LvL14 and say they are liking it. I played DIablo II for six years obsessively. Do not want to do that again. Tried the beta on DIII and did not care for it. Tried the GW2 beta yesterday and was not blown away by that either.

Right now I am just wrapped up in sunny days, trying to sell my house and playing/working on the Spyder.

I'm about to buy a new gaming laptop, but I don't know if it's even worth it anymore, since all these new games are so fail, and the mmo genre seems to be a burnt pieces of clone crap... I want GW2 to succeed, but a part of me is saying it's medicore at best. (even with the redesign)

I don't know what to do, dump the money into my dream wheels (volkTE37 SL's , or a new gen keplar/ivy bridge gaming laptop): since the new laptop is next gen and I know it would be sweet, but the scared the games I play on it will make it moot...

Yuki, I'd say it's not worth buying a new gaming rig for. If I were you, I'd purchase the wheels instead. I'm sure GW2 will keep everyone interested for a few months, then the population will drop drastically.

I think you are right! Thanks braddah, as I still have a gaming desktop rig and still seem somewhat happy playing Aion. lol (im just never home anymore that much, makes me depressed)

Maybe I'll forget about games when I get my car and go drive it in the real world, when I'm home for 2 days. XD

i bet you'll focus on your car when you get it! im having somewhat of the same dilema. kinda.not really haha. i can afford to wait for this car, as of right now my current ride works just fine(knock on wood), and use the money id spend on the car to get other things i want (new rifle setup, new bow, new furniture). but at the same time id like to upgrade vehicles to a true sports car. it's something ive wanted for years and it's going to nag at me until i get one. decisions decisions.

so i dont thread jack....hows diablo? my buddy said hes getting a lot of errors and hasnt played that much. almost glad i didnt preorder.

question for those that are playing: is the game set up exactly the same as Diablo 2? 6 quests each act, Five acts, etc..

and how is the multi-player like? same as diablo 2?

Total fail if you played asmodian. Wasn't too bad if you had elyos.

I rolled an Elyos cleric, somehow played on 5 different servers, and then they merged Vaizel with Zikel and call it Tiamat. Yeah it's a fail game, but the population on that server is still somewhat healthy, but will probably die when GW2 comes out. You could even feel the population drop when people were doing TERA beta lol.

I picked Asmo because the skills were slightly different.

Elyos had it fking easy mode. I ran through the invisible island like a boss.

Elyos had the easiest weapon drop rate PLUS extendable which made it impossible for asmo short ranged class to do jack shit.

Anyways I played Asmo Cleric and was the only cleric who could take down a fully miragent set SM.

Also didn't like Elyos because of the metro sexual look on both male and female characters. lol
