Hey guys, I've just gotten a brz and want to get involved in the community. Is there a meet up that goes on?
What I'm looking for is just general right now, learning how to drive better, simple mods (don't want to do anything crazy till my warranty is up), cruises, etc.

Thanks in advance for any help.

WELCOME!!! We have 4 different meets that currently go on as often as possible.

Tucson meets every other week ish, but are close enough they just call to hang out.

East Valley - Meets weekly on wednesdays at Piggly's (US 60 / Stapley)

West Valley - Every other week? location has been changing as members get situated. they are working it out with recent changes.

and a Yuma meet is small (2-3 cars) but getting started.

Hope it helps!

Jeff aka Cel

East valley meet is cool. I live at Tatum & bell pretty close to PV mall, work at the Pigglys that they meet at. Not that bad of a drive. 20 mins or so.

I have one of those 'safe' tunes @nelsmar mentioned. But yeah I run it as low as I can before changing over. Then I drive nice for a while. But really I've only run three tanks of gas after switching to ethanol. I tried to go back to gas, but it just sucked.

Yeah we've been crazy busy. Might make it this week. And there is no good app for finding e85...

7th street and Indian school
Kyrene and baseline
I10 and Elliot (east of I10, chevron)

Those are the three I use and also the order I prefer them in.

Gas is pretty cheap considering you're buying liquid explosive dinosaurs.

The three I used:

40th St and Elwood St - Shell
There's a station around 3030 S 45th St, don't know the name
48th St and Broadway - Chevron

Got my first service done at Right Toyota. Car is feeling good, despite the broken bolt. Will think about ethanol for my next fill up. The stations close by home is Scottsdale & McClintock Valero and Love's on the I10.

Been playing with my new camera. Less than thrilled with how washed out this is but shooting into the sun is rough. Also the haze this morning was ugly.

This beauty replaced my FRS.
