I'm pretty low and my Tomei 80 (3") scrapes quite a bit... the clearance under the differential is terrible, it's already scraped so much that there's a crack in the pipe on the lowest point and it's basically oval shaped...oh well

How the car sits now:

Approx clearance:

It's hard to tell but I probably have 1-2" of clearance, the exhaust hits way before the suspension bottoms out. Since this pic I've adjusted the hangers so it sits up higher but the damage is done, basically did my own oval pipe lol.

plus im not trying to SLAM the car, just a 2 inch drop
2" on this car is a lot considering the stock frs nose scrapes at stock ride height and my frame (with stock exhaust) would scrape on my old driveway back east. The main reason I have not lowered mine at all yet is the clearance.

Above said, i have used many different exhaust combinations on this car. As others have said, the critical area is where the tube crosses under the rear subframe. I think most aftermarket setups will error on the side of not hitting the subframe. You can do some tricks with the hangers (putting hose clamps or heavy duty zip ties around the rubber bushings to compress them and make them shorter, some hangers can be bent, or cut and re-welded etc) to snug things up, but the oval tubing custom setup is the best way to go IMO.

Sounds like you opted for air ride though, that will work too for sure, but you still run the risk of bottoming on bumps when your at speed on the interstate (and I assume on the low setting).

Lol if your scraping at stock height, your obviously not paying attention or giving a shit when you drive

I havent scraped this exhaust at all at stock height, my ride height will probably be a 1.5 to 2inch drop from stock, nothing serious. Only when i air out idc if my exhaust lays on the ground. Ill have a good 2-2.5 inch if i leave my exhaust how it is. still debating on what im going to do
