More or less the purpose behind my rather vague answer as well. If had it 10 years and gone through 3 sets could have a better answer but at this point I don't have a clue.

The car is already super low in my opinion. I couldn't imagine it being lower!

This is just the miser in me, but when I see an fr-s with a full body kit, rims and exhaust the first thing I think is "damn, thats like at least a few car payments"

Honestly, I most likely plan on trading mine in for something roomier, and I'd hate to "invest" in something I won't enjoy long term. Why invest in someone elses enjoyment since I'm going to trade/sell it eventually.

Granted if it was a vehicle I plan on keeping for as close to forever as possible, my opinion would be vastly different.

As far as the exterior I'm leaving it stock. Although I'll mod the suspension, air filter, brakes, tune, etc;

Mine is lowered an inch and a half. Daily driver, in Canada in the winter! Other then the occasional diagonal speed bump approach I am fine with it.

When I get those RS*R springs I wonder if I could get a place like line x or rhino line to spray that stuff on the bottom side of the bumper to protect against scraping. That is my only worry with going lower. I know I should just put a lip on it but I really despise the look of lips on stock cars.. Aero should be left to the race cars.

Don't know that spraying anything would help or look any better the the few scraps you will get.
Every laneway, railway crossing and speed bump does become a bit of a exercise in applied geometry though!

For what I use mine for, keeping it stock simply wasn't an option. There were some areas that needed to be addressed.

The stock wheels finished in silver or 100% brushed aluminum look VERY nice compared to that two tone now, FWIW...

I personally like the stock wheels, they make the car look more expensive haha

The only rims I really seem to like that are aftermarket cost 4grand and...yeah...nah...I'm good.

For those of you keeping it stock that's GREAT, For those who want to buy an unmolested FRS/BRZ in the future take note, these will probably be the guys who trade theirs in.

I don't know how to keep a car stock, its not in my nature. I'd probably Mod a mini van if I had one

WedsSport TC105Ns or Enkei RPF1s are light, cheap, and a million times better looking. You don't have to go with crazy expensive Volks, Advans, etc....

That's the problem, RPF1's don't look good in my opinion for me personally they make the car look cheap...
