Welcome to the Scuff Club. Take note of the pristine speaker grille. Admire it because that will last about a week.

pro tip: If parking in a tight spot between cars, I grab the rear edge of the door with my right (yes, right) hand so I don't accidentally whack the car next to me.

That door is crazy long.

Thanks for the input. So far this car is causing me to walk more. park it far away from the idiots...

I'll try the rubber/vinyl treatment.

need to vent

so my work has a parking garage (which is great) it actually has 4 or 5. there seems to be a lot of spots but if you show up after 9 you probably won't find a spot. So I always show up early, and park in the exact same corner spot

blurry pic as example

well just got an email that says only full timers get to use the parking garages as of next week and i'm now forced to park at a church that is a 10 minute drive away. and take a shuttle to and fro that only seats 9 people.

thanks for adding an extra 20-40 minutes to my daily commute that's already over 2 hours long.

and venting over.

My desk was recently moved 2 buildings over.
So instead of a 1 minute walk to it, I now have a 10 minute walk with 3 different sets of stairs (or 6 minute fast walk). I don't primarily work at my desk so I'm doing this many times each night.
I know them feels.

yeah, sucks that now i lose covered parking and lose my ability to avoid door dings by taking up the corner (which you can't park into because of the pillar placement)

fuck it, maybe i just work from home from now on.

its at a church so yes it'll be outdoor parking.

also found out there's only a total of 400 spots, and there's over double that amount of people banished from the parking garages.

way to go decision makers, way to go

Lol. Maybe if they have enough employees parking there and not enough spots for church employees. They'll have to kick you out and get the garage spot.

Unfortunately, because I park my car outside daily (at home and at work). It makes me care less about my car. I dearly want a garage.

yeah i'm lucky, i go from garage to parking garage, oh and if there's no more spots left for us at the church, we're SOL, still can't park in the garage.

Richard, a guy on the RDM fb page has an autocross (drifting allowed) event setup in march. He posted that it's 50 dollars a car. Im wondering if we could do something similar for the mega meet. The venue is the Dallesport airport in Dallesport, WA, across the Columbia from Dalles, OR.
