Why do you hate bugs so much?

I've put 3000 miles on my car in two weeks.

I don't even have 25k on my car and I've had it since November 2012. I don't drive it enough.

Haven't been on the site in a long, long time (thanks work) & have wanted to go to C&C Austin since I moved to the area. For some reason I thought it was the 2nd Saturday - I must have confused it with the SA one. Can't wait to go next month when my car is out from the body shop. So how early do you need to show up now? 8am? I've been to one in Austin when it was "rumored" to have a tv crew there or something last year - that turnout was massive...

This last turnout was even larger than that one and a camera crew wasn't there. People were parked on the road coming up to Oasis on both sides.

I'm going at 8 am next time because the amount of people is insane.

It's absolutely completely batshit crazy.

But not as crazy as meetups in NW Indiana. I nicknamed those "pole hitting".

I parked my unwashed stock FRS next to a lotus.
I was also unaware the garage was open ...
I'll be in the garage by default next time.

I know it's an "open" car show in that there's no registration or selection and all..

but how many stock or lightly modded 03 Mustangs do we need to see on the main floor? Seeing that McLaren parked in the dirt lot while other cars were front-and-center just felt wrong.

There were other McLarens.

I was sad there weren't more classic euros. There was a single Alfa.

I wish I could've brought my AE86. Didn't see another one.
