If you plan on trading/selling it, then mod what you feel is safe to. Totally the owner's call. However, I'm keeping mine for a good long while. I'll be the grandpa with the obituary stating how I was the cooliest and died driving my awesome car.

"How did grandpa die?"
"He went out in a blaze of glory driving his FR-S."

Do I have this right? The fender is hacked open and beat back with a hammer? That's quality design right there.

Cut fender, fold back the interior metal to wrap up to the top fender, grind down, tap weld, weld some more, grind some more, seal off. Place on RB fenders

Welcome to ACTUAL modifications

Sorry, I have higher standards. The inner wheel-well should be properly integrated back into the outer quarter. Structure and corrosion are both compromised with this hack-job.

Then again, it is not my car, so carry on!

I don't, but since I have the ability to do so, I will feel free to say that that kit turns a sexy little car into a rolling coprolite. You are more than free to do whatever you want to your car, go nuts. I am free to laugh at the money spent and the full-retard results.

Every RB driver I've ever seen looks like this guy:

It'll be more like:

"Dude, what's that hideous fucking piece of shit with half the car cover blown off in your granddad's back yard? Was that part of a carnival ride or something?"

"I don't know, it's some kind of 'car.' He keeps trying to give it to me for when I turn 16. If I can't find something else, I'll be a virgin until I'm 25."

There is no accounting for taste.

If I was the 13 year old me, I would go full rocket bunny and live every second of it.

Don't be such sour asses.

That would seem to confirm that RocketTard drivers are 13, which is what most of us suspect they are.

It's all about the "look at me bros! My fender cuts straight into my crooked wheels when I drive!" these days.

When Doc and Marty show up in a flying DeLorean, I'll sell my car.
