You will find that many of the "they can just do XXX" crowd do not seem to understand that car companies have to meet multiple emissions and safety requirements, they actually have to pay to develop, that line changes or interruptions cost millions, one change to the engine can mean changes all through the vehicle and that a few people that want XXX just can't be catered to for economic reasons! They seem to think car companies are not for profit charities that exist solely to make what they want and screw everybody else!

Guess I don't push my car very hard, cause I still have not experienced the dip........but maybe thats cause I am not sure what I am looking for.

All I have ever cared is:
-Do I like to look at the car?
-Am I having fun driving it?

If those requirements are met, I dont really care about the finer details until I am actually modding the car.

LOL. The dip is 1k wide. How hard is it to drive outside it? And it is there just to piss people off, as well.

ETA: You can get the software to edit and flash your ECU for exactly zero bucks.

If they were serious about keeping this car in the lineup, they would let you mix and match and custom order your car. Not sure I'd pay 35K for an FR-S, though. When Scion does a RBR (Rocket Bozo Release) we will know the car is dead.

It's right in the middle and more than just 1k. I can't drive it like I stole it everyday.

Having just spent 10 days in Japan, this car will never see a 4 cyl engine over 2.0L, IMO. To me, this was a car designed for the Japanese market first and foremost. Over there, this is a very quick, affordable car.

Have you tried driving around it? It is actually very easy to do without hammering the car.

You did get that it is a special edition right?
The normal ones will have minor tweaks once again.
I stand to be corrected but I think the top part of the press release speaks to the normal GTs and the bottom the Cb. If I am right and have deciphered the bad translating the 16s have a minor steering change and yet again something with the suspension and some cosmetic interior changes.

No not really. I've driven it only a handful of times being a DD for my friend.

You can very quickly figure out how at miniumize it's impact.
Now of course if you are doing any kind of racing then it has more of an impact but if you are doing timed races with a stock FRS you are pretty much doomed from the start.

Interesting. When I have one of my own soonish, I'll have more time to figure it out.
