When I go forced induction, I was planning on that exact same vented hood. I was wondering if I wanted to paint it or not, but after seeing how you left the vent areas unpainted and the rest color matched, I think that's an awesome way to do it!

Judging by the Microsoft Paint comic sans and clip art logo for this "news" site... they are legit. Sweet build bro, haters gonna hate. Love that you are taking it in stride and even used it to pimp your IG account lol.

That fucking article is horrible. They just don't understand. This is the quote that pisses me off most:

Quote:
Apparently no one told Jun that pumping all that money into his BRZ was a bad idea. The 21 year-old could have purchased a number of new cars for about the same money. A 2015 Porsche Cayman starts at 60K, 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat starts at 59K, 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51 Coupe 58K and 2015 Mercedes CLA 45 AMG starts at 48K. Or he could have spent less and gotten a Nissan 370Z NISMO 42K, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR 35K, Chevy Camaro SS 34K, Subaru WRX STI 39K or BMW M235i 44K. This is just a partial list and you could come with even more.
I have purchased a brand new E92 M3, C6 Z06, and a Cayman R all worth more than the cars they listed. That didn't stop me from selling my Cayman R and buying a new BRZ and dropping $20k into it. It is your money and if modifying your car gives you enjoyment, then do it. I plan to drop over $25k into the build of my S2000, and I will enjoy every dollar spent. What they don't realize in that article is that no car listed is lighter than the BRZ chassis. Lightness isn't something that can easily be added to a build.

The author of that article (if it's his real Facebook account) is a troll.
