Any ideas off hand?

I'm close to getting an uel header for the primary purpose of getting rid of the 4k vvt noise, would it be safe to load the uel e85 tune whole I'm still on stock header and e85 for about 2 minutes and Rev past 4k to see if the noise is gone or minimized at least. Then I'll flash back to the correct tune for my setup.
I've read reports of the uel tune getting rid of the sound but I just want to make sure before I drop $800 for a header. |

If changing your tune, then let the engine remap / relearn the new composition of E% and then go from there. (It was recommended every tank you let it relearn before WOT) Happy driving.
