Not necessarily. If it really is just as simple as changing a panel, you could split the signal from one of the other speaker outputs and put it through an amp.

Agree with that. Made me thinking about NB/NC version.
But I really wonder what the point of this GT version. It will cost a lot more than normal version if I understand well and for what? Just some aesthetic changes? Come on Toybaru, be original with a four door or a convertible but that ... I definitly don't get it why

They will never upgrade the engine till maybe a last year VERY limited edition model and will cost at least $10000 over the base or more.
