Not necessarily. If it really is just as simple as changing a panel, you could split the signal from one of the other speaker outputs and put it through an amp.

But yep, this ^ is what I'm assuming as well. 8 = 4 in dash, 2 in door, 2 in rear.

They will never upgrade the engine till maybe a last year VERY limited edition model and will cost at least $10000 over the base or more.
