So funny story....

I also did not realize that I could not use the stock gasket when I went to install it yesterday....but i had already pulled the stock exhaust (yes its all stock). So I opted to risk the exhaust leak and had Perrin overnight a gasket for $30.

I wouldn't recommend this long term but for a day or two there doesn't seem to be any adverse effects.

It is however difficult to get the tips even. (side to side is easy but my left wants to stick out an extra inch or two).
Going to try and trouble shoot it when I crawl under to slip in the gasket.

I recommend hanging everything but keeping things reasonably loose..then work your way from front to back. I'm pretty sure that rotating the sections will affect the fore-aft adjustment. Should be a post on this somewhere....

Maintenance - Brake and clutch fluid flush
At the same time I figured it was worth it to put in the whiteline positive shift and mtec springs.

All I can say is wow, this car just keeps getting better and better!

also, how the fuck does the plastic scuff so easily. ive learned how to get in and out of the car but does anyone know the proper way to deal with the minor scuffs?

how high does the car have to be lifted to install headers? I'm kinda worried about installing one on my own but I did manage to install my catback exhaust with no issues. Would a header be just as easy?

Header is very easy if you've done a catback.
You don't have to lift it really high, just make sure you have enough room to drop the header down with you under the car as well.

I think mine was 3 months. Did not bother to renew. They will sure call and try, though.

I got my BRZ back from the body shop and she looks good as new and I got a free detail out of it. I guessing $1100 worth of damage isn't enough to make a diminished value claim?

have an extra set of hands to help you, pull the S pipe down which will help straighten the pipes, then with your buddy holding everything in place, tighten the v-bands and hangers.
