Just over 14K. Took it in for my first oil change at about 7 weeks after I bought it and was still a few miles over the requirement.

Actually in the dim winter sun it looks more brown than orange. It gets washed every couple of days though.

Conversely, the 15's Halo white looks awesome in the snow. Quite good looking too when the dirt and grime from the road covers the cars lines and accentuates them.

There was no sarcasm in this post.

Ok I thought you had a lot more, I was around that within similar time frame.

But back to the topic I like taking back roads with traction and stability control off doing some spirited driving. Or just driving around town looking at people admire my car.

Actually just went and checked as the number didn't sound right. I am at exactly 17646. I usually average just under 4000 a month but the 3 week shut down at Christmas and bad weather over the last month have brought that way down for YTD. I will make it up again in a hurry once I get back to 2 or 3 times a week heading to Windsor or Detroit.

Another track day guy here. Back when I lived closer to some awesome roads, I'd go out with friends on weekends, but I moved and the roads around here suck, so mostly track days now. Really great way to enjoy our cars, but expensive.

Until it's covered in salt and mud, then it looks like everything else.

In order of most common to least common...

1. Work on it
2. Drive it when my DD is down (which has been over a week now, damn it)
3. Drive the piss out of it on the fun roads around my house
4. Autocross
5. Hopefully soon... track days

Still easier to find in a parking lot!

I finally understand what it's like for the Northerners... I was just given a company truck last week so I don't get to daily my 86 anymore She just sits in the garage, lookin' gorgeous, begging me to do some work on her and push her to the limits on some backroads.

All I keep hearing is "it will be great for the value of the car though!" and "now you won't rack up miles"... blah blah blah. I can't wait for the weekend.

"Some" Northerners!
The rest of us bought a car to drive, not park for 5 months!
Resale value can just screw off!!!!!!!

I just want the car to last; the amount of salt and sand they use on the roads here, coupled with the numerous pot holes and all the ignorant drivers taking chances on icy roads, just isn't worth it to me to use as a DD during winter
