two LH Rear struts

Yesterday I swapped out my springs for Eibach pro-kit springs and decided to keep the original struts. I did the fronts, no problem, they are labeled RH and LH accordingly. I pull the back ones out, and both struts have LH labeled on them. First off, was this a mistake from the beginning when I got my 86? Or is this how it is meant to be? I can't see any major differences like the front ones (brakes on the opposite side and all) the backs seem symmetrical.

Thoughts and experience welcomed!

That makes me feel better, just scary when I pull it off the rhs and it's labeled LH. Damn you subaru!

Thanks again for the quick response
