Alcantara cluster panel or Leather?

I've got some extra money lying around right now so I'm going to treat myself to a JPM coachworks panel. I just don't know if I should go for leather or alcantara. Eventually I'm going to install the knee pads and speaker panels from JPM as well, and those will be leather. But I do have the limited, so I have the alcantara seats. So what do you guys think? Leather or alcantara?

alcantara, just because of less reflection.

But I do think the Leather matches the dash better.

Alcantara - easier to take care of and tougher than leather when it comes to being in the sun. Plus gets rid of reflections in the windshield... Which is why I want to do the whole dash with it eventually.

Because Ultrasuede.

Do note that Alcantara does wear faster than leather in terms of contact. If used on surfaces that you touch often, the oil from your hands tends to make it shiny after a while. For a dash it tends to be perfect. For a steering wheel? Eh...

I prefer leather, but in your case, I'd said do the dash leather, but the knee pads alcantara.

Funny you ask this because I'm on the fence with this as well. I want to get the gauge cluster panel as well, along with shift boot, ebrake boot, and the dash trim done. However, I feel like if I got it in alcantara, I'd keep going and going and going until all of my interior trim matched that, and I don't want to go balls deep on something like that when it's not adding a whole lot to my car.

So, I've decided to not do any of it. But in your case? I feel like either way is a good way to go. And, keep in mind as mentioned, alcantara will reflect less onto the windshield, so that's a big bonus in comparison to the leather.

Thanks so much for all your feedback! Because I was so on the fence about one or the other, I think that the bonus of the alcantara not reflecting off the windshield is enough to push me in that direction.
