found the skirts and lip for 770. my god.

open to other skirt options, but have nodes what would look decent. everything looks so gaudy to me. don't want the normal bottom line that i have. REALLY like the STi design...decisions decisions.

also picked up a HKS header, HKS dual res front pipe. Tomei OP. op and header are ceramic coated.

still don't know if i should add a high flow cat to my HKS pipe, i want quiet, no rasp. with this setup i'll have three resonators and a muffler. really think i should toss in a highflow cat...

anyone can chime in here?

Adding a hi flow cat wont harm, it also depends on your cat back

my catback is already pretty quiet i think...maybe i should go to a q300 and not add a cat. or put it on and see how i like it and then i can always get a cat welded in.

driving the car without a tune will be okay for a few days, won't be getting on it in that case, just for volume testing so i can get tuned with the final version of my setup.

Q300 sounds amazing with headers !
Rode in my buddies hks el header, invida op, invidia test pipe and q300. It did have a slight rasp, but I've heard amazing things about the hks fp. Hks el tomei op, hks fp and a q300 will be amazing im sure

Nice Ivan - what wheels are you getting? Sorry if I missed you mentioning it earlier.

what i can't decide is if i should add a Cat to the HKS pipe. i don't think it will hurt me THAT much power wise, if anything might help with TQ..?

thats true, i COULD always trade catbacks, and i have both the resonated AND unresonated mid pipes for my perrin.

realistically, i want to keep perrin i like it a lot better, but i guess a ti-tipped q300 won't be too bad. he probably has rasp cuz catless, what'd he make?

personal favor. still on fence about it, i'm just not the biggest fan of the STi lip...but no other lip really matches the side skirts.

Funny, the lip is what I like most about the STi kit. I feel all the "bottomline" style look too angled since the front of the bumper is higher than the ends. The little faux "fins" really help level it out visually.

I can see another side skirt, more like what you have but with a similar feature at the rear. Hard to beat the spats, too...I've always been a fan. Had a set for my GD and never got around to painting them before I traded the car.

Have you considered painting the top half of the STI skits/spats GBS and the lower half gloss black?

You don't repaint your rocker panels do you? Why would skirts be any different? Sure the bottom side might get a little beat up but if your high enough for anyone to get under the car and notice it...

You wouldn't need to repaint them, and I'm sure you know someone that could clear vinyl overlay them to protect them.
