yah but flow would be more optimal with a straight section of pipe; most muffler shops can replace the cat fwiw or weld in said straight section, or you can send it back to P&L

What good is an ecutek cable without dongle? Aren't they supposed to come with dongle?

Cable allows you to flash new tunes as well as log data. The Dongle is essentially your license for ecuTek.

You will need to buy a dongle to have your car tuned. You are not required to have a cable, but its fairly necessary since you will most likely need to flash yourself at some pt.

Does getting the cable at the above price save a person money when also ordering a license and tune from shops like Delicious?

In my experience no. It was a flat price for the cable. Flat price for the dongle (license).

However there may be places that give the 2 a discount together.

I've talked to ecutek & my tuner on this matter time after time. Cable comes with dongle. Dongle has your license info on it after you use it on your computer but the license is used by your ecu & computer. Dongle is reusable & meant to go with the cable which is also reusable & NOT license specific.
