Do you have to have the OFT attached everytime or can you flash, unplug and the car will run under that tune until you switch it?

Also, I have an automatic frs, will the improvements be seen only in the automatic manual mode or also in the full auto mode?
The performance improvements are available in all driving modes. For example, if you're in full auto mode and give it 75% throttle you will definitely notice the performance improvements (especially through the torque dip area).

Do you currently have any other mods? I have a stock 86 and was wondering if my auto 86 would see any improvements with just the oft. Money constraint atm but have a buddy whose selling just the oft. Wondering if I should just save up for the oft/ofh combo or get a oft for now and wait for the ofh.

I have a Perrin 2.5inch resonated catback and everything else is stock. I've heard the stage 1 is a significant change in performance both tunes for manual and auto. I don't know for sure because I haven't tuned yet, but I will definitely let you know on Wednesday. An oft tune with stock everything I'm sure will increase performance as well I'm sure, I definitely recommend the product

have a read of OFT TIPS and Basic tuning guide below.

Once ecu is flashed no need to keep device plugged in unless you want to log whats going on.

oft tunes and most others only make changes to engine control parameters. No changes are made to transmission control unit or traction stability control all work as per normal.

gains for auto and manual weill be same.

All headers order should be caught up and shipped out by end of the day today.

We have a few OFH left in stock at this time so feel free to place the order and we will be able to ship it out the day of or the following business day.

For those that have placed the order you should have received a tracking if not, email me at sales@openflashperformance.com and I can provide you with a tracking.

Cheers

Just got mine delivered and installed today along with an OFT tune and perrin overpipe, and I could not be happier with the performance. Got rid of the torque dip and sounds like a Subaru should! Absolutely in love with the craftsmanship of the product. Great customer service from VishnuTuning all the way around. Definitely recommend the OFH/OFT combo, best bang for your buck imo.

Those who have already installed the header...what are the torque specs you used for Manifold to Header (22 ft/lbs?) , and Header to Overpipe?

I installed mine last week but I am pretty sure I have leaks. The reason I say this is because I hear a fluttering sound upon start-up and it does seem like it continues as i push down the gas pedal. Also - i can smell the exhaust everytime I start the car up and walk around it unless this is normal.

Yes - I installed new gaskets and also applied thread sealer.

Maybe it's the front pipe cat you're hearing.

True but I don't think I should be able to smell the exhaust that clearly. I wonder if the people who already installed it are smelling anything or hearing any of the noise I'm describing.

Can you describe the noise by comparing it to something? Under what conditions do you hear it?

Also, have you logged any data? A look at your LTFTs ought to suggest whether or not you've got a leak.

I have that same sound sometimes. It's super weird. Some days is more pronounced than others. I don't have a leak as I got it smoke tested multiple times.
