More snow in the Northeast

Here in my little town just south of New Hampshire, we are expecting 12-16" more snow on top of last weeks blizzard. This should put at least four FEET of snow on the ground. Here we are at 10:30A.

I've been curious. So people who dig out cars like above, are you really planning to drive it during severe weather? What's the point?

Unfortunately people do and then I'm the one they're calling to get their asses pulled out of the ditch..

Well usually the severe weather is over by the time I bother to dig out but like Newb said some are more foolish!
Areas that are used to getting a lot of snow can also be surprisingly fast at clearing the roads so you get scenes like the picture where people are digging out their cars but the roads are already good.

It's funny. I actually don't mind cleaning snow off my cars and doing some shoveling. I actually find it a bit therapeutic!

What REALLY chaffs my balls is the fact that people decide to just throw the rules of the road out the door like it was a bucket of whole milk that was left in a hot room for a week(or at least more so than usual). 4-way stop with 5ft tall snow banks? Let's just roll through it. 2-lanes turned into 1.5? Lemme just pull over without using the hazards and sit there jerking off. Waiting to take a turn with a car in front playing it safe and not gunning it on a slushy street? Lemme honk enough to piss them off to pressure them into getting into an accident and then cut them off down the street nearly costing me thousands in repair costs and increased insurance premiums.

I hate people sometimes.

I hate shoveling with a passion!

I had every single one of those things plus a few others happen just yesterday.

My laneway is full of snow so let me just park on the road so the snowplow can't possibly get around me and has to skip that whole section.

Let's just shovel all the snow from my lane way back into the nicely cleared street. That is where it came form anyway so who cares if cars all of a sudden hit a solid wall of snow on a bare street.

The sidewalk has half an inch of snow on it so I better walk down the middle of the unplowed road. Everybody has perfect control of their car and can go around me.

Snow storms, how I deal with them.

Wait for the storm to die down or stop snowing (drink beer all day). Then shovel that shit. Go beast mode to get that job done fast. Hate myself later when my shoulders, lower back, and legs hurt all day. Sleep and repeat when it snows again.

Other times when I have to go out in a snow storm its either for work or play time.
That's what makes a Subaru a Subaru.

Never experience live snowing yet.... in Los Angeles, CA. Currently getting 70-80 degrees weathers here.. what is snow?

Btw heard it's best to start shoveling snow once it stops.. so the snow is still fresh and can easily be move.
