The giant bat is a a species called a Acerodon Jubatus, known as the giant golden-capped flying fox. I just found out about it today and it is an endangered species native to the Philippines. I thought it was fake but then all these picture show just how large they get

WHOA!! Shit just got real!! I was in the P.I back in '08 and didn't see anything like this!

If I saw one when I was there, either chillin upside down or flying around, I would probably shit in my pants! But it's cool how they took the pic to make it look bigger than it really is.

For real that shit is ridiculous. I'd quickly pick up the closest weapon and start beating the shit out of it if it ever came towards me though.
