If you're responding to me, we'll be doing it again November-ish. It was originally supposed to be a once-a-year event we put on, but everyone that went had such a good time that they "forced" us to host another gathering sooner..hence this February one not being nearly as organized.

I hope your car is down for a good reason.

We did the Twisted Sisters for the 8/6 meet last year and it was a blast. I do want to run the road again it will all depend on what funds I have around that time. Interested for Feb 14, I cant make the run the SA group is planning for the 24th of this month sadly.

Cool, I'll get more details tomorrow and post them here. Hotel info, if there's a discount this time, departure times, etc etc.

FWIW, if you can get with others, you get free breakfast buffet vouchers for everyone in the room. So if you put 3 dudes in a room, all 3 of you get free food in the morning (that's what the 2 owners and I did last time..somehow got a room with bunk beds too). And they don't seem to charge an "excess people" charge.

There's always the option of driving there and back the same day, but eh. Probably meeting at 9am again the day of, done with the drive by about 5pm IIRC. Plus, hanging out with everyone is a good part of the fun.

Ok so far the only details we have is that it's February 14th. Leaving the YO Ranch hotel parking lot at 9am.

Hotel group rate and free breakfast vouchers have not been set up at this point, nor has a meeting time in Denton Friday (they will meet at the shop, that is for sure. 2120 James St. Denton, TX 76205).

I'll update again once I have more details. Like I said, this one wasn't on our schedule until not too long ago, so we haven't been organizing it nearly as much.

If you have facebook, the event link: https://www.facebook.com/events/904464016231988/
If that's locked, just give me your name so I can send you an invite if you want. So far there are 41 people saying they are going (that's drivers and passengers) and 27 maybes.

sorry, ive been having a rough idle problem(drops and rising at stops).
i have an after market intake that could be affecting it. basically somewhere that can calibrate my computer (and anything else) so that my 86 is running at her best. sorry if this sounds dumb. im pretty new to the in-depth parts of the car world ahhah

You would need to look at 2 things for a tune, either the Open Flash Tablet or looking into a EcuTek license for your car and a tune to go with it. Those are the options at this time. Honestly not worth it for either if all you have is a intake.

I used Steve's Automotive Refinish for my recent body work. It came out so perfect that I thought he replaced the entire side of the car. He did not. He matched the flake in my black paint perfectly. I'm incredibly picky about body work -I'll typically find fisheyes and sanding marks in the "best" paint jobs without even looking- and Steve's didn't let me down.

What Shneegle said. You'll spend nearly $1000 all said and done if you go the ECUtek route. You'll gain a lot of cool features, but for what you have it's hardly worth it IMHO.

My guess is you probably have a vacuum leak. Unless you have some intake that changes the intake piping size so much it requires MAF scaling, an intake wouldn't really cause a rough idle.

Is it actually a rough idle though? Or is it the usual fluctuation these cars seem to have (drove us NUTS trying to figure that out when we started tuning these cars). Aftermarket intake and exhausts might just make you notice it more since they make a lot more noise than the stock kit.
