Just got mine installed as well and enjoying the rumbles. I'm using the header with the Perrin over-pipe and 2.5" resonated exhaust. Sounds great and the power is VERY noticeable!

Thanks OFT!

How spot on is the fitment when connecting the header to the stock exhaust pipes? Just asking because on a previous car I've had issues where the fitment of the header was off by a bit and caused some strange resonance and vibration at certain RPM.

Also, for people who had the stg1 OFT tune and then went to stg2 tune with ONLY the OFH installed (no other exhaust mods), how noticeable was the tq/hp difference?

Got an email today from sales, unfortunately when they got to my order they had run out of stock which is kind of upsetting because when I called and placed the order I made sure to ask I would get one from the batch they had in stock. Luckily, they have a shipment coming in tomorrow and will get it shipped out tomorrow as well. I'm a happy guy can't wait to install and tune. Will update with video when I get the chance.

In my case the fitment was very close to the stock manifold, It was off a couple thousandths, from being perfectly centered, but bolted up fine. I have had no resonance, rattle, or vibration, but I still hate the cold start noise. I would advise to re torque your bolts about a week after initial instillation, I got an extra 1/2 turn out of them a week later at the same torque setting.

I also went from stg1 to stg2 + OFH with otherwise stock exhaust, and I didn't notice a large difference, slightly less than I felt going from stock to K&N + stg1. However with the torque power band being so much flatter you don't really feel that massive pull difference going from the bottom of the torque dip strait up into the peak torque so I think that is why it doesn't "feel" as fast.

specifically post 146 for reference. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55676&page=7

I appreciate it, and I've seen it before, but I don't trust myself to mod a file and not brick my ecu, at least not yet.

also just for clarification, when I said "It was off a couple thousandths, from being perfectly centered" I was talking about where it mated up to the rest of the exhaust.

Foobar graciously modified my tune for me. It's not silent on startup but it's quite a bit quieter.
I'll bet if you asked him nicely he would modify yours as well.

So what's the consensus on ceramic coating this header? I've heard a couple different things. For people who have it coated, is the coating bonding properly?

Noob here. But just wanted to chime in and say that I just purchased the OFT + OFH then went with STG2 E85 map and boyyyyyyy is it something! Feels like it should of coming from the factory now! The torque dip is hardly there anymore, thankfully. If the mpg wasnt so bad, I might run it for forever. Good stuff!
