The ft86 one is cool and all but like the others made

I am not spending $30 f'ng dollars on a plastic sticker.

I'd think about it for $20 with free shipping.

I find it so hard to believe that after 3 years this is still the best we can do... I can have either a bloated overlay that sticks out like a sore thumb or I can spend 800 bucks on a oem air bag cover.

How much harder could it possibly be to make exactly this only smaller and slimmer to fit in the old badges place.

Yes, I know whatcha mean...nothing would beat a straight "replacement" in regards to oem look and being flush and sunken-in.

But...F that airbag replacement. That's for jdm ricer whores. Just get a Nardi or Sparco steering wheel..cheaper, lighter and solid, jack!

Remove red 3M protector to expose 3M double sided adhesive. Push down firmly. Profit.

The adhesive they use is strong like bull.

Maybe it's because it's frigid outside right now. I'll turn the heater up or get a hair dryer or something and try again.

When I put my T3Q badges on, I was told it has to be at least above freezing for it to stick well.

Also...make a special "Replacement" version:

Which actually replaces the oem Scion emblem (needs to be removed) and fits inside the hole/indentation; leaving the new emblem perfectly flush to the airbag. And..make this in 3 colors, hehe (chrome on shiny black (a glass/clear-coat glossed over the entire emblem would be extra nice), all matte black, matte silver on matte black)

Agreed. That matte black overlay is so close to the mark, IMO. All they need is to make a flatter version that requires you to pry off the stock emblem to install in its place, and it'd be an immediate buy for me.
