Have you used the chains yet?
I'm looking into chains or cables my self as I'm in the same situation and am afraid thule CB-12 don't give enough clearance from everything in the wheel well. |

No man it's been a mild winter here in NC... I just rode my RC51 all weekend in January! But it snowed pretty hard last year in Feb. Fingers crossed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yeah winter hasn't hit too hard in the lower states yet.
But do you know how the clearance is on the front wheels (I'm assuming the clearance looked good on the rear on your test fit)? My main problem is a twisty mountain road that I think will require chains on the front to get around the turns |

Yeah man I think you and I are on different paths. I'm just using this to get unstuck like really good track pads and low speed hazards on type driving. If you want winter performance get winter tires. They are awesome. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Tire Chains - Thule CB-12 090
Ok for all you haters guess who got home today in a snow storm with brand new Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires?
Took about 2min a wheel to fit them. Made it home in 2nd gear. Max 15mph for 2 miles on deserted roads. Amazing traction. Why compromise with all seasons for 1 snow storm a year when you can buy chains for 50$? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

By the way years later I did bust my chains apart when the snow started thawing. I don't recommend this unless you're driving over 100% snow.
