Wow high praise for the 86! Thanks for posting the article champ!

PS. Anyone notice that the claimed fuel consumption is 7.3L/100km. Based on the MPG figures from the US I was expecting somewhere in the 9s? Great news for the hippies like me

Awesome stuff! nice read However...

there were 2 things that I am concerned about after reading that.

1) 'Wheels' speculated on the price of $38k for entry level (sorry if i'm bringing the price subject in) if that is the case GTS would probably be approx $44-$45K on road, I'm going to pull out if it's true.

2) LSD is optional I forgot to ask for it >.<" does that mean i'll be dropped to the back of the line and which = wait till next year?

I'm gonna wait it out, see what happens when the day arrives, aye?

From the JDM spec it was only optional on an auto base spec... if you got a auto GTS should come standard. I would need to re-read the doco that was posted about in early march.

Here ya go i checked!!!

Like all reviews in Mags they all have BS facts...

Enjoy.

If I remember correctly the jap models all had LSD factory fitted except G and RC model auto's.

If the LSD as an option is true I pitty those first in line. So thats how Toy Aus shaft us, bwhahah got us 1way or another didn't they.

Nardi is correct subject to change. Also that spec sheet says LSD avail doesn't say it is or isn't an option or factory fitted.

Hmm i see the Feb' printed dealer doc has finally made it inside Wheel's and according to the full doc the timing of wheel's 86 issue is right on target...hmm...very interesting indeed. I wonder if they will stick to the rest of the timetable (other dealers will know what i mean).
