I did 16ish autocrosses, 5000+ miles of street driving and one session of HPDE on mine.


Plenty of tread left. Problem was the driver (aka me) slid the right rear off the curb during the HPDE and upon bring the tire back up on the curb, the inner sidewall was cut.


I trashed both rears, but still have fronts and could take pics if you want to see it. The fronts I still have are the elusive 225/45/17s as well.

I don't want to be one of those guys, but we travel 3 hours to events 2-3 times a month, and if these things are going to be at the wear bars before they heat cycle out we will toss them in the trunk and swap at the event.


FYI:
We put 10,000 miles and 250-300 runs on the Z2. They are just now at the wear bars, but have been heat cycled out since 150 runs.

Street and Street Touring® category vehicles will use fuel which is “Federally approved for use on public highways.” This includes the pump fuel known as E85, but does not allow racing-type fuels which are available at service station pumps. Fuels comprised of more than 15% ethanol may only be used when specified by the manufacturer (e.g., in the owner’s manual for flex-fuel vehicles).

I've interpreted this as we can't use it anymore. I'm pretty sure that was the intent.

The 200 TW R1R is up on TR in some sizes - the description:

No changes were made to tire compound or construction, so both 140- and 200-Treadwear-rated tires are compatible with each other when put into service as singles, pairs or in combination.

I know there was a lot of speculation about this but I think this it the first confirmation I've seen.

I'll probably do the star specs during the great Hankook shortage. Toyos weren't very widely used at national events when they were legal, but that could be down to contingency...

I just ordered from Tire Rack, they moved the RS-3 availability from late April to the first week of March.
