Based on the pic on Perrin's site, no... I have no clue why they'd make the catback not compatible with OEM style donut... IMO the donut is a LOT better than any 2 bolt flange.

Urgh.
Correct, it will not work with Perrin CBE. I got a pic from JDL showing the difference. The correct one is completely flat with the flange. If you have a cutting wheel, you can cut that extra part off since it is just attached with 4 tack welds. Or you can ask them to send you a new front pipe and return the one you have. Good to figure this out now rather than to fight with it for 30min and realize that it was impossible.

Isn't the nameless front pipe similar in design? Thought that worked fine with the Perrin catback

Guess I need to contact JDL about my front pipe then since I need it to pair with the Perrin 2.5" resonated catback. Thanks for the heads up.

I called them up today. My invoice is 514 and is scheduled to be shipped next week. Felt bad tho, as they seemed pretty annoyed that I called. I'm sure they were busy...keep up the hard work guys!!

They don't offer titanium from what I saw.

He probably meant titanium thermal coating.

Good point.

I wouldn't bother titanium coating a front pipe and save your money. No point to it. The overpipe on the other hand, I would suggest. I coated my header and OP since both are within the engine bay.

No i meant titanium as in the piping material not a coating. Jdl will do custom stuff if requested.

Hey guys, it looks like we missed a few questions here, sorry about that.

Yes, we can do titanium parts. We were trying to get Ti v-band flanges a while back, but I'm not sure what the status of that is. I think the Ti parts we have done recently have all been 2-bolt flanged. I will ask Jesse how/if he wants to quote this and I'll follow up with you soon. Obviously the cost increase is significant but the lead time may be as well.

I believe that everyone else that should have a return label to send parts back has had one sent to them. Several people waiting on shipping info should also have received email confirmations.

jonkim2 - I want to make a point to apologize to you if you were given the impression that somebody was annoyed to talk to you. Things have been crazy around here lately and I can promise you that it must have been something going on in the background. Calling the shop directly is still the preferred method to get the most up to date information available, so we definitely don't want to discourage anyone from doing that.

Please let me know if I missed anything guys...
