Are you talking STI Japan wheels or STI USA wheels?
You can get the US version from your local Sub. dealer or online: https://www.subarugenuineparts.com/p...feff8d1e4f6c06 The Japan version can be ordered from Japanparts.com : https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/41618 The US set will cost you around $1400-1500. The Japan set will set you back around $2,000. The US set is 17x7, whereas the Japanese set is 18x7.5. Alternatively you can keep an eye on the marketplace as a few Series.Blue owners unload their US sets there at a discount. |

Maybe he wants the 2004 WRX STi wheels. MMmmmm.. If I ever find another reasonable priced set I will not let them get by.

Honestly after having that generation STi wheels I'd never purposefully put them on anything. They're not the lightest and really aren't that strong, I've been able to bend multiples from just aggressive off-level cornering in my STi.

The '04 STi BBS is 17x7.5, 5x100 and 15.7 lbs? How is that far from light?!?! It's half an inch wider than stock and 5 lbs lighter...

Well if he's making a direct comparison on the exact same 17x7.5 RPF1, those are 15.25 lbs. Anything larger than that is heavier than the STI BBS...

I never realized there was such a huge weight difference between 04 and 05 from an extra 1/2" and larger bolt pattern. |

For what it's worth, I'm currently running a set of 2005 17x8 et53 STi wheels with 25mm ISC adapters. Final offset is et27, and I've just swapped out the worn out 245/40 tires that came on the set I got for 225/45 so that I could remove a little negative camber. Personally, I love the look, and will be running these as my primary wheels on this car.

Also, I was hoping the 15mm ISC adapters would work, and tried bolting them up that way at first. The image above was using the 15mm adapter with a 5mm spacer behind it for test fitting purposes. Once I realized I could make it work with the 25mm adapter I bought those and that's what the car is on now. I'll try to get some decent photos with the new tires and 25mm adapters soon.
If you're willing to shave 5mm off of the factory studs you can run the 15mm adapters. I have another set of wheels with a thick enough mounting face that I wasn't comfortable shortening the studs.
